
Tormenta FC Signs Forward Devyn Jambga

STATESBORO, Ga. - South Georgia Tormenta FC has signed former FC Tucson forward Devyn Jambga to its 2020 USL League One roster, pending league and federation approval.
Jambga was Tucson's second-leading goalscorer in 2019, notching five goals and one assist in 25 appearances. The forward earned two USL League One Player of the Week honors after scoring braces against both Chattanooga Red Wolves SC and Greenville Triumph SC.
"Devyn is a player who always caught my eye last season when we played against him," Head Coach John Miglarese said. "His speed and relentless work rate will allow us to be a threat in wide areas this season. He is a strong fit in our team's culture, and I think he will feature prominently this season."
In 2018, Jambga played for USL Championship side Portland Timbers 2, where he made five appearances. The forward played collegiately for Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, scoring 15 goals and 6 assists. Jambga also played two seasons in USL League Two with the Des Moines Menace.
"I'm really excited for the opportunity to grow in such a competitive environment this year," Jambga said. "I know that the Tormenta FC coaching staff and players will push this group towards winning a trophy this year."
