Tormenta FC battled Orlando City B tonight for the second time this season and came out with all three points this time after tying with OCB on April 14. Tormenta shut out OCB and continued its undefeated home campaign.

"I'm glad we got the result," Head Coach John Miglarese said. "We were a little rusty in the first half after having a week off, but we got sharper in the second. There were some guys that had to step it up tonight like Mikie Rowe, and I'm very proud of their hard work."

Orlando City matched Tormenta's possession throughout but completed only six shots to the home team's sixteen. Tormenta FC has several close chances in the first half like Dalton Pando's shot that hit the underside of the crossbar in the 27th, but it was Mikie Rowe who scored the game winner. With his family from Ireland sitting in the stands, Rowe bicycle kicked the ball to the center of the goal after a Tormenta corner in the 54th, putting Tormenta in the lead.

Alex Morrell solidified Tormenta's lead in the 86th with a goal from the right of the box, assisted by Yaw Amankwa. This win strengthened Tormenta's second place spot, putting the team within one point of first place in the USL League One standings with twenty-two points, right behind North Texas SC. Tormenta continues its home streak on June 22 against the Richmond Kickers.
