STATESBORO, Ga. - South Georgia Tormenta FC defeated Major League Soccer side CF Montréal 2-0 in Orlando, Florida, today ahead of the club's home opener at 7 p.m. ET on April 17 in Erk Russell Park. Tormenta FC's goals were scored by defender Curtis Thorn and midfielder Luca Mayr, while goalkeepers Pablo Jara and Carlos Avilez secured a clean sheet in goal.

Tormenta FC is excited to safely host a limited capacity crowd in Erk Russell Park. Tormenta FC asks all fans to wear masks until the vaccine becomes more widely available.
