
Tormenta FC Adds Defender Fuad Adeniyi to 2022 Roster

STATESBORO, Ga. - South Georgia Tormenta FC has announced defender Fuad Adeniyi to its 2022 USL League One roster, pending league and federation approval. The London native gets called up to the first team after a short stint with Tormenta FC 2 where he proved himself, starting and playing in two matches.
Adeniyi spent his collegiate years with the University of Mobile and the University of California Santa Barbara men's soccer programs. With the University of Mobile, Adeniyi earned First Team All-League honors and helped the Rams win the SSAC Tournament. With USCB, Adeniyi played 24 matches and helped USCB make its seventh appearance in the Sweet Sixteen and its 12th overall in the NCAA Tournament. Ultimately, the USCB program fell to No. 2 Clemson University.
Adeniyi has also suited up for Atlanta SC, AFC Ann Arbor, and had a stint with Finnish side Sporting Kristina in 2016.
Tormenta FC is excited for a historic 2022 as it transitions from Erk Russell Park to Tormenta Stadium. Supporters can purchase Flex Ticket packages to guarantee their presence at all remaining home matches this season.
