1. THE TENNIS
World-class tennis comes to the MAC as the Boston Lobsters take on the 4-time defending champion Washington Kastles. The Kastles will feature fast-rising American star Denis Kudla, who just reached the 4th round at Wimbledon, Grand Slam doubles champion Leander Paes, and Madison Brengle, ranked 36th in the world in singles. The Lobsters feature rising star Irina Falconi, along with tour veterans and doubles specialists Scott Lipsky and Arantxa Parra Santonja. Teams battle it out in a format where every point counts - the tennis is intense!
2. THE FUN
Mylan World TeamTennis is all about fun! Our pre-match entertainment includes free tennis clinics for kids with USPTA pros, visits by New England Patriots Cheerleaders and Pat Patriot, great music and many other activities for kids. Every set break will feature contests, giveaways and more!
3. THE ACCESS
Boston Lobsters give you access like no other professional sporting event. Every seat in the stadium is a great seat, we encourage people to cheer on their home town team, and post-match every child 16 and under is invited on court to get autographs from the players on both teams!
4. THE FOOD
With a new concessionaire this year, we are set up for people to come out and enjoy a full dinner, snacks and great dessert. Make it a great night out with the Lobsters!
5. THE WEATHER
The forecast is perfect - highs in the low 80s and mostly sunny - a great evening for tennis!!
