SPRINGFIELD, MO - Defending WesternConference Champions the Springfield Lasers open their 20th season of MylanWorld TeamTennis (WTT) Sunday, July 12, at Mediacom Tennis Stadium, in Cooper Tennis Complex, 2231 E. Pythian. The Lasers face the Philadelphia Freedoms at 7 p.m.

- Shelby Rogers was added to the team roster in May, to serve as a substitute for Alison Riske. But due to injury, Rogers will no longer play with the Lasers this season. Varvara Lepchenko will sub for Riske July 12, 13, 14 and 15. Sachia Vickery will sub for Riske July 17, 18, 19 and 21.

The Springfield Lasers schedule includes seven home matches, including July 24 and 25 appearance by John Isner, America's No. 1 male tennis player since 2012. The complete schedule is:

All home matches begin at 7 p.m. at Mediacom Tennis Stadium at Cooper Tennis Complex, 2331 E. Pythian, Springfield.

The Springfield Lasers are the 2013 and 2014 defending Western Conference Champions, making it to the Mylan WTT finals two years in a row. The Lasers also won the western conference in 2009, 2001 and 1999.
