Corvallis Knights News Release
Tonight's game is "on". And the Doppler radar is looking good. It should be dry this afternoon and into the evening. It looks like things clear at 2:30 pm. So, make plans to catch your red-hot Knights at Goss Stadium.
Corvallis beat Kelowna last night 9-2 before a crowd of 1,428 that was thoroughly entertained by the world-famous San Diego Chicken. The SD Chicken was awesome and the Knights have now won 7 of their last 8 games. The Oakland A's 9th round draft pick, Jace Fry (1-1, 1.50), pitches this evening for the hometown team. Come on out and support your Knights and breast cancer awareness. It's Fitzpatrick Painting Paint the Park Pink presented by The Corvallis Clinic's Project H.E.R.
Gates open at 4:30 pm. First pitch is at 5:15 pm.
