Birmingham Barons News Release
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - After dodging the rains that plagued the Southern League Wednesday, the Barons and Lookouts fell victim to Mother Nature Thursday. Their 6:15 p.m. game has been postponed until April 18.
The game will be made up Saturday with a doubleheader beginning at 5:15 p.m. (CST). Both games are scheduled for seven innings. Scheduled to start today, Mike Recchia will start Friday's game with Tyler Danish and Frankie Montas set to throw Saturday for the Barons.
Birmingham returns Monday, April 20 to the Pensacola Blue Wahoos. Tickets for the home stand are on sale now, and a hard-hitting promotional lineup is planned. Thirsty Thursday, Mardi Gras in April & craw fish boil, Superheroes Night and a Regions Field Baseball Give-away are just a few promos scheduled.
