Tomahawks Announce 2013-14 Regular Season Schedule

Johnstown, PA - The Johnstown Tomahawks are thrilled to announce their schedule for the 2013-14 regular season. The team, which earned the title of North American Hockey League (NAHL) 2012-13 Organization of the Year, begins its sophomore season with a two-game homestand on Sept. 14 and Sept. 15 against Port Huron. The Tomahawks will play a total of 60 games, including 28 home games at the Cambria County War Memorial Arena.
To open the season, the Tomahawks will welcome the Fighting Falcons on Saturday, September 14 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, September 15 at 3:00 p.m. at the Cambria County War Memorial Arena. The Tomahawks plan to hold the Second Annual HockeyFest, featuring music, food, drinks, and games for fans of all ages, to kick off the start of the new season, with more information to follow.
Johnstown will play a total of 28 home games in 2013-14, taking place mostly on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The Tomahawks plan to bring back many fun promotion events, theme nights, and giveaways for the new season. A full promotional schedule will soon be released.

Four of the team's early regular-season games will take place September 18-21 at the Schwan Super Rink in Blaine, Minnesota for the 11th Annual NAHL Showcase Tournament. All 24 NAHL teams will participate.
The weekend of Friday, March 21 marks the team's final home games of the season. They will play the Soo Eagles in the three-game homestand that will feature Fan Appreciation Weekend. They will play their final game against Janesville in Wisconsin on Saturday, March 29, the same day the NAHL concludes its 38th regular season. The post-season playoff run for the 2014 Robertson Cup Championship begins May 9, 2013.
