
Tom Mauthe Resigns as Heat President

Abbotsford, B.C. - Lane Sweeting, Chairman and Director of Abbotsford Heat Hockey Ltd., announced today that Tom Mauthe has resigned as President of the Abbotsford Heat. Mauthe was the inaugural President of the Abbotsford Heat and was integral to the launch of the American Hockey League franchise in Abbotsford and the Lower Mainland.
"We would like to thank Tom for his efforts and tremendous commitment to our organization during our start-up and first two seasons" noted Sweeting.
Mauthe, a native of Vancouver, BC, has agreed to assist the Heat for the next few months during transition.
