ABBOTSFORD BC - The Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League (AHL) announced today the resignation of Dave Sheldon as Director of Communications and Broadcast, effective July 25th..
Sheldon has spent the past two seasons as the Heat's play-by-play broadcaster, calling each and every game in the Heat's two year history, as well as balancing the communications department among his duties. Sheldon will depart the Heat to take another position within the media industry.
"We are happy for Dave and his future opportunities," comments Team President Tom Mauthe. "We would like to thank Dave for his work with the Heat organization over the past two seasons and wish him well in his future endeavors."
