B-Sens 2011 Open House Set for Saturday

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that the club's 2011 Open House event will be held Saturday, July 23 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. The free event is open to the public and will feature entertainment, locker room tours, food and the opportunity to select season tickets for the 2011-12 American Hockey League season.

All seats currently held by season ticket holders will be clearly marked making visible those seats that are available to purchase. Current season ticket holders are welcome to arrive an hour early at noon. At that time, season ticket holders will have the opportunity to make changes to their seat location and purchase additional tickets.

A number of local businesses will participate in the event to celebrate the upcoming hockey season. American Food and Vending will serve up select concessions. Also, as in past years, Jack Sherman Toyota/Scion will have several new vehicles on display.

Entertainment will feature a large bounce house inflatable for kids. Max the Mascot will be on-hand to greet fans, while members of the B-Sens staff will lead locker room tours. Additionally, the Calder Cup will be on display. Fans will have the opportunity to get an up close look at the Calder Cup and have their photo taken with it if desired (fans must bring their own camera).

The B-Sens will also have select Calder Cup champions merchandise available for purchase.

Also Saturday, 10-game plans for the 2011-12 season will go on sale to the general public. Benefits of the plan include the flexibility for plan holders to choose the games they wish to go to, the same seat for all games in the plan, a discounted ticket price with no service fees and the first opportunity to purchase playoff seating.

10-game plans are $165 per seat for side seating and $155 per seat for end seating.
