Though it will probably change after tonight, the top 3 in the Atlantic Division are on a combined win streak of 19-0-1 (REA 8-0, TRE 5-0-1, WHL 6-0). The next best 3-team combined streak IN THE LEAGUE is only 13-0 (AK 5-0, COL 4-0, LV 4-0). The only other teams that have a multi-game point streak are Greenville (2-0), Cincinnati (3-0), Florida (1-0-1), South Carolina (0-3-1-1), Utah (1-0-0-2) and Ontario (2-0).

DID YOU KNOW?

Trenton is 8-0-1-1 leading after two periods (4-0-1 Home); Reading is 13-0-0-1 (5-0-0-1 Road)

The Titans are 11-1-1-2 when scoring first. Reading was their 1st loss (SO); the Royals are 14-0-0-1.

The Titans still have a streak of killing off 25 consecutive Reading PPs heading into tonight. However the Royals PP has improved from a league-low 7% last meeting, to 16th at 16.2 - 16 games ago.

Trenton has not lost to an "expansion" team this year, going 1-0 vs. ORL and 3-0 vs. EVN

And The Nominees Are...

Three Titans in consideration for league honors

With the run the Titans are on it only makes sense that someone should at least be considered for weekly league honors, if not win them.

Goalie Scott Wedgewood is up for the net minders after going 2-0 last week. He dramatically stopped 39 in a 5-2 win at Fort Wayne Saturday, and 26 more in beating Elmira last Wednesday, 5-4. That game may not seem impressive, but he also stopped 3 breakaways, including 2 short-handed.

Phil DeSimone (just recalled to Adirondack) is up for POTW. He had a 5-point week (3 goals) that included a PPG and game-tying goals against Elmira and Evansville (6-3 win on Saturday).

Marcel Noebels is pushing for Rookie & Player honors for the Month. Scoring in 6-straight games and 10-of-11 in December (including a hat trick to begin the month), he has 8 goals (3 PP), 9 assists and a +4 rating as Trenton has gone 6-2-2-1 for the month with three games left (including tonight).
