The Torrington Titans (3-3) had a tough outing on Wednesday, as the Brockton Rox (3-3) dominated in a 13-6 win at Fuessenich Park.
The Brockton Rox scored four runs in the sixth on the Brockton Rox scored in the sixth on an RBI single by Jack Lambrecht, an RBI single by Trent Turner, an RBI single by Turner, and a two-run double by Andrew Calderone.
Eric Feliz racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Brockton Rox. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the sixth and eighth innings.
Mikey Arman reached base four times in the game for the Torrington Titans. He singled in the first, third, and seventh innings.
Justin Lasko got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He allowed four runs over five innings. Lasko struck out five, walked four and gave up seven hits.
Matt Nalbone ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked two and struck out two.
The Brockton Rox hammered the Torrington Titans pitching as seven hitters had a field day, combining for 13 hits, nine RBIs and 13 runs scored.
