Titans Escape Worcester

Tuesday was a great day for Nick Johnson, as Johnson threw six scoreless innings to carry the Torrington Titans (20-22) to a 7-5 victory over the Worcester Bravehearts (18-27) at Fitton Field in 10 innings.

Dan Schock led the Torrington Titans' offensive threat, as he got on base five times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI. He tripled in the fourth inning and singled in the tenth innings.

Alex Fishberg improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Torrington Titans. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Ian Strom (0-1) took the loss for the Worcester Bravehearts. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
