The New Jersey Titans are proud of their 80+ alumni playing NCAA hockey.
Friday night began with Kyle Jeffers scoring the first goal of the game for Lindenwood as they surprised #17 Arizona State with a 4-4 tie, before falling in a shootout. Blake Humphrey had a pair of helpers for Sacred Heart as the Pioneers defeated AIC 4-3, and Ryan Coughin added an assist for Mercyhurst, though they fell to Robert Morris 5-2. At the Division III level, Chris Garbe found the back of the net for Middlebury in a 5-2 Panthers win over Wesleyan, Jack Karlsson had a goal and an assist in a 5-2 Stevenson victory over Neumann, and Brad Zona had a pair of assists for Endicott in a 8-2 win over Western New England.
On Saturday, Kyler Head found the back of the net for Mercyhurst despite falling once again to RMU 4-3. Coughlin picked up another assist in the game, giving him a 3 game point streak and 5 points in his past 5 games. Mitch Machlitt had a goal in Genesco's 7-1 dumping of Oswego, giving him 16 points in 21 games this season. Ryan Naumovski recorded his 99th NCAA point with a goal for Augustana in a 5-2 win over Bemidji State. Zona added another assist in a sweep of WNE, and Jack Ring had a 2 assist night for Plattsburgh State as the Cardinals knocked off Potsdam 4-2.
