Fort Myers Mighty Mussels News Release
FORT MYERS, FL (April 10, 2012) - The Fort Myers Miracle are in the mood to celebrate anniversaries in 2012. The club is celebrating their 20th Anniversary Season and Saturday, April 14th will pay homage to the centennial anniversary of the Titanic's ill-fated conclusion with Miracle Seat Cushion Giveaway.
The Miracle host the Bradenton Marauders at 6:05 pm with the first 750 fans receiving the giveaway item that can also be used as a flotation device on your next trip aboard a luxury cruise liner.
To properly honor the great ocean liner, women and children can purchase tickets in the lower bowl of Hammond Stadium, while men will be relegated to tickets in the upper sections only.
Prizes, reenactments of the 1997 Academy Award-winning movie and on-field games will help commemorate the evening.
The great steam ship was known for its eloquent dinning options that were very similar to what is offered today at Hammond Stadium.
Adults will have the opportunity to purchase the Saloon Deck Package ($10.00 wristband for All-You-Can-Drink Domestic Draft Beer through the end of the 6th inning ). Game tickets are sold separately. You can also sample the drinks of the game, Gin or Vodka and "Titonic" w/ a Splash of Blue Curacao.
To top the night off, if the Miracle sink the Marauders every fan in attendance will receive a free ticket to the July 18 "Big Splash" summer water day promotion.
Unlike the first-class tickets on the Titanic that cost $2,500, tickets for Saturday night's can be purchased for as low as $6.50.
So dress up in your 1912-era décor and head for Southwest Florida's version of the Titanic on Saturday night.
