Coach Daleo to invade WXRX Morning Show For the past three years, Coach Daleo has been calling plays on the basketball sidelines; on Wednesday July 27, Coach Daleo will change gears and spend the morning receiving calls. From 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Coach Daleo will team up with "Double T" and be the guest disc jockey for the WXRX 104.9 fm. morning show.
"I am very excited." Said Coach Daleo "My plan is to take my Monday morning segment and expand it, have fun and of course play a lot of Offspring." "With me going on vacation,' said Morning co-host Jim Stone "we tried to get someone who would rock with our fans and be a representation of the people of Rockford. Since we could not get anyone, we had to settle for Daleo."
Rockford airwaves are very familiar with Coach Daleo teaming up with WXRX. During the basketball season last year, Daleo was a regular in studio guest every Monday morning. On May 28, 2005 in front of 10,000 screaming fans, Daleo introduced the rock band "Skindred" at the WXRX sponsored rock event Wing Ding.
