14 Weekend Dates Highlight Home Slate

Boise, ID (July 25, 2005) - A total of 14 home weekend dates, including six Friday and Saturday nights in the final month of the season, highlight the Idaho Stampede's 2005-06 schedule, which was released today by the CBA league office. The Stampede will host 25 games at the Bank of America Centre in downtown Boise, including the 22nd CBA All-Star Classic.

The oldest professional basketball league in the world will tip off its 60th Anniversary season with a total of eight teams. The league will be divided into the Eastern (Albany, Gary, Michigan and Rockford) and Western (Dakota, Idaho, Sioux Falls and Yakama) Conferences and play 192 regular season games. The 16-week season concludes on Sunday, March 12, 2006, and the 2006 CBA Playoffs are scheduled to commence on Tuesday, March 14

The Stampede's first home game will be Saturday, November 19, against the Yakama Sun Kings. On Tuesday, January 17, 2006, the Idaho Stampede will host the 22nd CBA All-Star Classic, which features the Long Distance Shootout, the Slam Dunk Competition, and the CBA All-Star Game.

Idaho plays three home games in November, seven in December, five in January, six in February, and three in March. The team will host games on each night of the week over the course of the season: Monday (2); Tuesday (5); Wednesday (2); Thursday (1); Friday (6); Saturday (7); and Sunday (1). All home games begin at 7:10 p.m.

The 48-game regular season schedule includes a pair of five-game road trip for the Stampede. The team will be at home for nine out of the final 14 games of the regular season. Season tickets are available by calling 388-HOOP.
