Timbers2 Sign Defender Harvey Neville

PORTLAND, Ore. - Timbers2 has signed defender Harvey Neville ahead of their 2024 MLS NEXT Pro season opener, the club announced today. Neville will be available for selection in tonight's road match against Real Monarchs at 6pm PT.

Neville, 21, joins T2 from MLS-side Inter Miami CF, where he logged 14 games played (4 starts) for the first team across all competitions from 2022-2023. For the second team, the fullback made 42 appearances (all starts) with Inter Miami II, tallying four assists across MLS NEXT Pro and USL League One play from 2021-2023. While on loan from Miami in 2023, Neville played seven matches for USL-side Loudoun United. At the international level, he featured for the Republic of Ireland's U-19 team. A product of Manchester United Academy, Neville also spent time in the Valencia CF academy system in Spain.

T2 will kick off their third MLS NEXT Pro season tonight on the road against Real Monarchs at 6pm PT. Facing a quick turnaround, they will then host El Farolito SC in the First Round of the 2024 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup at Providence Park on March 19 with a 7:30pm PT kickoff. Tickets to the Open Cup match are $10 and general admission only, on sale here. T2 will host their regular season home opener against The Town FC on Friday, March 22 at 7:30pm PT at Providence Park. Tickets to all T2 regular season matches at home are free of charge and available for redemption on Timbers2.com.
