PORTLAND, Ore. - Timbers2 earned their third home win in their last four games at Providence Park, registering a 3-1 win over SKC II at Providence Park on Sunday afternoon. Josh Penn helped Portland snap a three-game losing streak, tallying a goal and an assist in the match.
Goal-Scoring Plays
SKC - Ethan Bryant (Alenis Vargas), 16th minute: SKC II won the ball in Portland's half of the field. Alenis Vargas received the ball out wide on the right side of the box and delivered a cross to the penalty spot for Ethan Bryant, who sent a shot into the bottom left corner of the goal.
POR - Josh Penn (Keesean Ferdinand), 19th minute: Keesean Ferdinand worked his way down the right side of the field before delivering a pinpoint cross to the center of the box. Josh Penn outjumped the SKC II defender and deposited a header into the back of the net.
