PORTLAND, Ore. - Behind a hat trick from Diego Gutiérrez along with a goal and two assists from Florian Monzón, Timbers2 secured a 6-1 win over LA Galaxy II at Providence Park on Wednesday night. Monzón's goal was his team-leading eighth of the campaign, while Gutiérrez increased his season total to five goals. Noel Caliskan also added a goal and an assist in the match.

Goal-Scoring Plays

POR - Florian Monzón (penalty kick), 7th minute: Portland was awarded a penalty kick after a handball in the box. Monzón stepped to the spot, firing his attempt into the upper right corner of the goal.

POR - Diego Gutiérrez (Noel Caliskan), 29th minute: Leading the attack, Noel Caliskan played the ball out wide to Diego Gutiérrez on the left side. Gutiérrez cut in and dribbled along the edge of the box before sending a low, hard shot inside the left post.

POR - Diego Gutiérrez (Florian Monzón), 55th minute: Monzón won the ball back near midfield. On the break, Monzón delivered a pass to Gutiérrez, who made a run down the right side of the box and chipped the goalkeeper for the finish.

POR - Diego Gutiérrez (Florian Monzón), 66th minute: Winning the ball back inside the LA box, Monzón played a quick back heel pass to Gutiérrez, who curled the ball inside the right post.

POR - Julian Bravo (Selmir Miscic), 81st minute: Selmir Miscic drove a corner kick into the center of the box for Julian Bravo, who jumped and directed the ball with a powerful header into the back of the goal.

LAG - Axel Picazo, 90th minute: Receiving the ball just outside the box, Axel Picazo took on multiple Portland defenders inside the box before finding space and unleashing a strike into the bottom right corner of the goal.
