
Timbers2 Goalkeeper Ryan Bilichuk Named to MLS NEXT Pro Player of Matchday 5

PORTLAND, Ore. - Timbers2 goalkeeper Ryan Bilichuk has been named MLS NEXT Pro Player of Matchday 5, the league announced today. It marks the first time a T2 player has earned the award since the league's inception in 2022.
Bilichuk earned his first professional win and clean sheet in Sunday's 2-0 victory over LAFC2. The 22-year-old goalkeeper made seven saves in the match, helping T2 earn their first win of the 2023 campaign. Bilichuk was selected by the Portland Timbers in the second round (No. 44 overall) of the 2023 MLS Superdraft out of Elon University.
Next up, T2 will travel to face the Real Monarchs at Zions Bank Stadium on Sunday, April 30. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. (Pacific) and will be streamed live on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app.
