PORTLAND, Ore. - Timbers2 earned a 2-0 shutout victory against Colorado Rapids 2 at Providence Park on Sunday night. The victory marked T2's fourth clean sheet of the 2023 campaign. Additionally, Florian Monzón tallied his ninth goal of the season for Portland.

Goal-Scoring Plays

POR - Michael Edwards (own goal), 52nd minute: Diego Gutierrez sprinted through the right wing and dribbled into the 18-yard box before crossing a ball that was eventually deflected by Rapids 2 defender Michael Edwards. The ball ended in the back of the net.

POR - Florian Monzón, 74th minute: Florian Monzón challenged the Rapids 2 goalkeeper inside the six-yard box before heading the ball into the middle of the goal.
