PORTLAND, Ore. - Timbers2 dropped a 3-1 result to Houston Dynamo 2 at Providence Park on Sunday evening. First team striker Tega Ikoba scored Portland's lone goal of the match, tallying his fourth of the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro season.
Goal-Scoring Plays
HOU - Diego Gonzalez, 5th minute: Dynamo 2 earned a direct free kick at the top of the 18-yard box. Diego Gonzalez fired a curling shot into the left-side netting of the goal.
HOU - Tate Lampman (Jacob Evans), 25th minute: From the right-side endline, Jacob Evans delivered a pass inside of the six-yard box for Tate Lampman, who finished the play into the back of the net.
HOU - Isaiah LeFlore (Diego Gonzalez), 49th minute: Receiving the ball on the right-side of the box, Diego Gonzalez played a low and driven ball past the penalty spot. Isaiah LeFlore slotted a one-touch shot into the far post corner of the goal.
