Timbers2 dropped a 2-0 result to Earthquakes II in their home opener on Sunday evening at Providence Park. Next week, T2 will head to Commerce City, Colo., to face Colorado Rapids 2 at Dick's Sporting Goods Park on Sunday, April 9 with a 7 p.m. (Pacific) kickoff time.

SJ - Eduardo Blancas (penalty kick), 10th minute: A Timbers2 defender conceded a foul in the box. Blancas converted the penalty kick.
SJ - Keegan Tingey (Israel Carrillo), 30th minute: Off a long ball that was served into the right side of the 18-yard box, Carrillo headed the ball into the top of the six-yard box where Tingey controlled the ball and fired a right-footed shot into the lower-left corner of the goal.
