
Timbers2 Acquire Forward Reo Griffiths

PORTLAND, Ore. - Timbers2 have acquired forward Reo Griffiths, the club announced today. Griffiths will join T2 pending a receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and P-1 visa.
Griffiths, 23, joins T2 from National League side Wealdstone F.C., after signing with the English club in March of this year. Prior to that, the forward spent two seasons with the Doncaster Rovers in EFL League Two, tallying two goals and two assists in 21 appearances. Griffiths signed his first professional contract, a four-year deal, with France's top tier side Olympique Lyon in August of 2018, and went on to record 13 goals and one assist in 34 matches played for their second team from 2018-2021.
A product of English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur's academy system, Griffiths had an impressive 2017-18 season before turning pro, recording 33 goals for the Spurs U18s, including four hat tricks. At the international level, the London native featured for England's U17 and U16 teams.
