
Timbers players Kocic, Miller to work checkout stand Thursday to help raise money

WHAT: In partnership with Coca-Cola and Fred Meyer, Portland Timbers players Milos Kocic and Ryan Miller will work the checkout stands at a local Fred Meyer on Thursday at the second-annual "Baggin' It for Big Brothers Big Sisters" event, helping raise money for Timbers Community Pillar Partner Big Brothers Big Sisters Columbia Northwest.
Kocic and Miller will bag items for fans and customers who purchase Coca-Cola products in designated checkout lines at the Hollywood Fred Meyer in Portland between 5-6 p.m. Items will be bagged in reusable Coca-Cola shopping totes, and five percent of all Coca-Cola products purchased during that hour benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters Columbian Northwest. The Timbers, Coca-Cola and Fred Meyer will match the donation up to $1,000.
