
Timbers Kick off 2024 Preseason January 13, Presented by Old Trapper Beef Jerky

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Timbers announced their full 2024 preseason schedule today, presented by Old Trapper Beef Jerky. Ahead of its 14th MLS season, Portland is set to begin its preseason on Jan. 13 at the Timbers Training Facility when players report to training camp. The Timbers will hold the first media availability on Jan. 16 at the Timbers Training Center.
The Timbers will travel to Phoenix, Ariz., from Jan. 24 - 31. Portland is scheduled to play a friendly preseason match vs. Phoenix Rising FC on Saturday, Jan. 27 at Phoenix Rising FC Soccer Complex; kickoff is set for 12 p.m. (Pacific). The match will be open to the public with tickets available HERE.
Portland will continue the preseason playing in the 2024 Coachella Valley Invitational from Feb. 6 - 17 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif., alongside 11 other MLS teams. The Timbers will open their tournament account against New York City FC on Saturday, Feb. 10, at 1 p.m. (Pacific). Next up, Portland will play a midweek match against the San Jose Earthquakes on Wednesday, Feb. 14, at 11 a.m. (Pacific) before closing out the tournament with a Saturday, Feb. 17, match against Chicago Fire FC at 12 p.m. (Pacific). The invitational will be open to fans with tickets on sale at www.CoachellaValleyInvitational.com.
The Timbers will kick off their 34-game 2024 MLS regular-season against the Colorado Rapids on Saturday, Feb. 24 at Providence Park with a 7:30 p.m. (Pacific) kick off time. Every Timbers and MLS match in the 2024 season will be streamed live on Apple TV+ through the MLS Season Pass subscription in English and Spanish.
