Timbers Introduce Season Ticket Information, 'Virtual Venue' For Inaugural MLS Season

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Timbers have introduced season ticket information and an online "virtual venue" feature that gives fans architecturally accurate views of every seating section available at PGE Park when the team begins play in Major League Soccer (MLS) in 2011.

The virtual venue feature at www.PortlandMLS2011.com offers fans the ability to simultaneously compare 360-degree views from various seating sections and the opportunity to explore the exciting changes that will take place at PGE Park for the 2011 MLS season. Additionally, fans who have not already done so are able to place a $50 deposit toward season tickets for the 2011 season to gain priority status during the seat-selection process, which will take place over the coming weeks. The seat-selection process is as follows:

Segment I - Seat-selection process for existing 2010 Timbers full-season ticket holders begins Monday, June 28, at 9 a.m.

Segment II - Seat-selection for existing 2010 Timbers half-season and flex plan holders begins Monday, July 19, at 9 a.m.

Segment III - Seat-selection process for MLS 2011 depositors begins Wednesday, July 21, at 9 a.m.

Segment IV - Open public selection (non-season ticket holders and depositors) begins Monday, Aug. 2, at 9 a.m.

In segments I, II and III, fans have a 15-minute window to select their season seats; they also are able to log in any time after their scheduled appointment time to select seats.

Season tickets for the Timbers' inaugural MLS season start at $99. In addition to tickets for 15 regular-season MLS matches in 2011, Timbers' MLS season ticket holders will receive:

- Five (5) additional matches per season as part of the season ticket package

- Exclusive season ticket-holder gift

- Annual season ticket-holder appreciation event

- 10-percent discount at the Timbers Team Store

- Five (5) buy-one, get-one half-off coupons good for additional tickets to Timbers' regular-season matches

- Special access to exclusive Timbers events

Also, the Timbers have introduced a new program to reward fans who invest in season tickets before Dec. 31, 2010. Known as "The Axe Society," this new program offers several additional benefits at no extra cost, including special name-recognition on a commemorative display at the stadium, annual discounts at the Timbers Team Store, exclusive promotions and events for Axe Society members and a commemorative, inaugural-season gift.
