
Timbers' Dombrowski Named To Team Of The Week

PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Timbers midfielder Neil Dombrowski was named to the USL First Division Team of the Week for Week 10, it was announced today. Dombrowski netted his first career goal against the Montreal Impact last week to earn his first Team of the Week selection of the year.
With a goal in the 85th minute, Dombrowski gave the Timbers a late 1-0 lead over Montreal at PGE Park on June 21. Seconds later, forward Alen Marcina netted the equalizer for the Impact as the two sides finished in a 1-1 draw.
The Timbers face Northwest rival the Seattle Sounders tonight in the second round of the U.S. Open Cup at Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila, Wash. at 7 p.m. The winner of the second-round match advances to play Major League Soccer's Chivas USA in the third round.
