GRAND CHUTE, WI - The 2014 season of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers season is just about to begin. The season opening series with the Peoria Chiefs at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium begins on Thursday, April 3 at 6:35. There are also games scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 6:35pm, Saturday, April 5 at 1:05pm, and Sunday, April 6 at 1:05pm.

Two bobblehead giveaways are planned for the homestand. The final three games of the series are special Throwback Pricing Games as part of the team's 20th anniversary season presented by Bergstrom Automotive. Plus, there are fireworks after the game on Friday and an appearance by National Baseball Hall of Fame inductee and former Milwaukee Brewer Rollie Fingers on Sunday, April 6.

Details of the promotions that will happen during the homestand are below:

- THURSDAY, APRIL 3 at 6:35pm; Arty's Old Fashioned Thirsty Thursday presented by 95.9 KISS FM; Scooter Gennett Bobblehead presented by Cher-Make and Pepsi: Scooter Gennett played for the Timber Rattlers in 2010 and is featured in this opening day bobblehead, which is an All Fan giveaway. All fans can enjoy 16oz soda and beer, and Arty's Old Fashioned drinks for just $2 as part of Thirsty Thursday presented by Arty's and 95.9 KISS FM.

- FRIDAY, APRIL 4 at 6:35pm; North Shore Bank Family Night w/ Y100; Fireworks, Postgame Kids Run the Bases presented by Molina Healthcare, Throwback Game presented by Appvion: A Throwback Game presented by Appvion means ticket prices will be thrown back to 1995 with $5 for a box seat, $4 for a reserved seat, and $3 for grass seats. Timber Rattlers players will wear jerseys based on those worn by the team in its inaugural season. Friday is also a North Shore Bank Family Night. Children 12 and under receive a free hot dog and soda. After the postgame fireworks, kids 14 and under may participate in Kids Run the Bases thanks to Molina Healthcare.

- SATURDAY, APRIL 5 at 1:05pm; Felix Hernandez Bobblehead presented by Dairy Queen; Throwback Game presented by Appvion: Felix Hernandez pitched for the Timber Rattlers in 2003. King Felix won an American League Cy Young Award in 2010 and pitched a perfect game in 2012. The first 1,000 fans to attend this game will receive a Felix Hernandez bobblehead courtesy of Dairy Queen. Saturday is also a Throwback Game with 1995 ticket prices and jerseys.

- SUNDAY, APRIL 6 at 1:05pm; Brewers Sunday presented by 107.5, The Fan; Throwback Game presented by Appvion; Rollie Fingers Appearance: Before the Rattlers and Chiefs play the game fans can play catch on-field courtesy of Rasmussen College. After the game, Timber Rattlers players will be available for an autograph session. Rollie Fingers will make an appearance at the game. Fans may purchase one of a limited number of VIP Packages (box seat ticket, a pregame meet & greet with Fingers, and one guaranteed autograph) for $35 from the Timber Rattlers for Sunday's game. Fingers will also throw out a ceremonial first pitch and sign for fans on third base concourse near the Festival Grill until the fifth inning. Fans are urged to purchase their tickets for these games in advance one of three ways: On-line at www.timberrattlers.com, over the phone at 800-WI-TIMBER, or in person at the Neuroscience Group Field Box Office. The box office is located at Fox Cities Stadium and is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and from 10am to 3pm on Saturdays.
