Timander Reassigned To Sound Tigers

BINGHAMTON, NY - The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, have announced the reassignment of Defenseman Mattias Timander to the team by the Islanders.

Timander was recalled by the Islanders last Tuesday and had one goal, one assist and two points and was a +1 while averaging over 13 minutes of ice time per game in three appearances with the big club. He has four assists and two penalty minutes in 16 games with the Sound Tigers this season.

The Sound Tigers will visit the Binghamton Senators tonight at 6:05 p.m. in the AHL's only Thanksgiving game. The Sound Tigers will host the Hartford Wolf Pack at Bridgeport ‚¬â„¢s Arena at Harbor Yard tomorrow at 7:35 p.m. and will visit the Lowell Lock Monsters this Saturday at 7 p.m. All three games will be broadcast live on 600 WICC-AM and at www.soundtigers.com.

Sound Tigers individual-game tickets are on sale at the Harbor Yard box office Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and on all game days, as well as on-line at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster at 203-368-1000.
