Tim Frazier Wins NBA D-League Performer of the Week

PORTLAND, Maine - The NBA Development League announced today that Tim Frazier of the Maine Red Claws was named NBA D-League Performer of the Week for the second straight week. Frazier has now won two this season to go with the three Performer of the Week honors last season with Maine, when he was named NBA D-League MVP and Rookie of the Year.

Once again, Frazier was near a triple-double in all three games last week, all wins. He averaged 12.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 9.7 assists in the three games, helping Maine clinch a playoff berth.

On March 10, Frazier recorded 16 points on 6-8 shooting (4-6 from three-point range), 10 rebounds and 5 assists, as the Red Claws defeated Erie, 111-95. The next night, Frazier helped Maine defeat Grand Rapids, 132-107, with 10 points (4-5 FG), 5 rebounds and 10 assists in just 25 minutes of play. On Sunday, Frazier notched 12 points, 7 rebounds and a season-high 14 assists in another win over Grand Rapids (129-123).

In eight games with Maine, Frazier is averaging 15.0 points, 9.1 rebounds and 9.4 assists. All-time, Frazier has five of the Red Claws' ten triple-doubles, including a 24 point, 12 rebound, 10 assist performance in just his second game back with Maine on Feb. 28.

Frazier signed a multiyear deal with the Portland Trail Blazers last season. He was waived by Portland and returned to the Red Claws three weeks ago.
