BROOKLYN, NY - One night after the Connecticut Tigers (10-7) came back from a 4-0 deficit to win, the Brooklyn Cyclones (7-10) pulled off the same feat against the Tigers on Sunday evening, winning 5-4.

For the second straight game the Tigers scored four runs in their second at-bat. In the second inning the Tigers quickly loaded the bases against Harol Gonzalez. Tanner Donnels cashed in the first run of the game with his RBI-single through the right side.

The Tigers continued the scoring when Junnell Ledezma roped a two-run double down the left field line, making it 3-0 Tigers. For Ledezma, it was his first extra-base hit and RBI's of the season. Will Savage capped the scoring with an RBI-single off the glove off third basemen Jay Jabs.

That would be it for the Tigers offensively as they were limited to just three hits the rest of the way. Alfred Gutierrez pitched a season-high six innings but gave up five runs to the Cyclones. Gutierrez got off to a good start retiring the first six batters he faced. But the Cyclones scored two in the third, one in the fifth and two in the sixth to take the lead for good.

Joe Navilhon and John Hayes each pitched scoreless innings out of the pen for Connecticut.

The Tigers look to bounce back tomorrow on the Fourth of July against the Williamsport Crosscutters, affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. First pitch is slated for 7:05 p.m. Be sure to get there early, first 300 fans get a free slice of apple pie.
