
Tigers to Broadcast 2011 All-Star Game on Tuesday

NORWICH, CT - The Connecticut Tigers are proud to announce that "Road Voice of the Tigers" Justin Sheinis will be providing live play-by-play of the 2011 New York-Penn League All-Star Game on Tuesday night at LeLacheur Park in Lowell, MA.
The game can be heard live on 1310 AM WICH, home of Tigers baseball, as well as on cttigers.com.
Sheinis will kick off the broadcast at 7:00 PM with a special 30-minute pre-game show, covering everything from on-field interviews to a preview of the game. First pitch for the game is set for 7:30 PM.
The Tigers will have two representatives in this year's All-Star Game, including designated hitter Dean Green and starting pitcher Brennan Smith, who will both be heard from during the pre-game show.
Connecticut will return home following the All-Star break with a seven-game homestand over a six-day span. The homestand begins on Wednesday night with a doubleheader against the Staten Island Yankees, Class A affiliate of the New York Yankees. Game one is set for 5:05 PM.
