ABBOTSFORD BC - Nathan Lawson turned aside 47 shots and the Bridgeport Sound Tigers stopped the Abbotsford HEAT by the score of 3-1.

The Tigers had goals tonight from Greg Mauldin, Mark Flood and North Vancouver's Trevor Smith. Matt Pelech was the only Heat player to beat Lawson on the night, as he was able to jam home a loose puck with one second left in the opening period.

The HEAT fall to 1-2 on the current home stand and will look for a victory over the Tigers on Saturday night at the AESC.
