Tiger-Cats Unveil 2021 Grey Cup Ticket Pricing for Season Seat Holders
October 9, 2019 - Canadian Football League (CFL)
Hamilton Tiger-Cats News Release
In conjunction with the launch of 2020 season seat renewals, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced the first wave of 2021 Hamilton Grey Cup ticket pricing Wednesday, sharing an unprecedented preferred ticket rate available exclusively to Ticats season seat holders. Hamilton Grey Cup pricing for non-season seat holders will be announced in 2021.
Today's announcement of preferred pricing on Grey Cup tickets delivers on The Caretaker's Commitment - a promise the Tiger-Cats made to season seat holders when the 2021 Hamilton Grey Cup winning bid was announced. Fans with continuous ownership of season seats through the 2021 season receive preferred pricing on 2021 Grey Cup tickets, first-access to their same Tiger-Cats seat (or a seat in a different section) for the Grey Cup game, and first-access to Grey Cup Festival event tickets.
Announced today, season seat holders who renew their tickets for the 2020 season receive preferred savings of 10% (on average compared to non-season seat holder price) on 2021 Grey Cup tickets. In addition to the savings on Grey Cup tickets, season seat holders will enjoy a full complement of exclusive benefits on Tiger-Cats game days, including 15% off concessions and 10% off merchandise.
The Tiger-Cats also introduced the 'Home Field Advantage Renewal Plan' for Ticats season seat holders, featuring additional Grey Cup savings and a price freeze on season seats. The Home Field Advantage Plan grants Ticats season seat holders who commit to season seats for the 2020, 2021 and 2022 seasons an unprecedented Grey Cup ticket savings of 25% (on average compared to non-season seat holder price) on their 2021 Grey Cup tickets. Fans on the Home Field Advantage plan also receive a price freeze on their 2020 renewal price, through the 2021 & 2022 seasons. It's a new way for fans to renew their season seats on an equal payment monthly membership model, while unlocking the additional Grey Cup ticket savings at the same time.
"As an organization, we're continually looking for innovative ways to provide our season seat holders with as much value as possible for their hard-earned money and commitment to support our franchise each season," said President and COO of the Tiger-Cats, Matt Afinec. "With Hamilton set to host the 2021 Grey Cup, it was very important to us to reward our best fans with the maximum-possible preferred price on their Grey Cup tickets."
Ticats fans who aren't currently season seat holders can take advantage of Grey Cup ticket savings by becoming a new season seat holder in 2020. Season seats for the 2020 season go on sale later this fall. In the meantime, fans are encouraged to join the Ticats Season Seat Priority List (ticats.ca/priority-list) for front-of-the-line access to the best tickets available.
