Tiger-Cats Take a Break From Training Camp For Tim Hortons Camp Day

Hamilton, Ontario - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that players, coaches and cheerleaders will take part in Tim Hortons Camp Day tomorrow June 7th which will raise money to help send local kids to camp. "Tim Hortons Camp Day is a great program that makes an enormous impact on the Hamilton community," said Adam Provost, Vice President, External Relations. "Our players, coaches and cheerleaders are looking forward to serving as much coffee as possible to help such a worthwhile cause." Every penny raised from coffee sales will be donated to the Tim Horton's Children Foundation. The Foundation is committed to providing an enriched and memorable camp experience for children that could not otherwise afford it. During their stay at camp, kids participate in a wide range of first-class programs and activities designed to build self-confidence, self-esteem and leadership skills. "We are absolutely thrilled to have the support of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Camp Day," says Tim Hortons Regional Marketing Manager, Shelley Oldfield. "For the players, coaches, cheerleaders - even Stripes - to share their time with us during the busy pre-season, it is terrific. On behalf of all the kids who will go to a Tim Horton Children's Foundation camp this year, thank you very much."
