
Tiger-Cats Sign Nationals Brown and Glave

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced Wednesday the football club has signed two national players including kicker Dante Brown (pictured) and defensive lineman Donovan Glave.
Brown, 24, spent 2021 with the Edmonton Elks on their practice roster after originally being selected by the Elks in the fifth round, 41st overall of the 2020 Canadian Football League Draft. The 5-10, 185-pound native of Mississauga, Ontario played three seasons at Fort Hays State University (2017-19), converting 47 of 56 field goal attempts (83.9%) with a career long of 56 yards.
Glave, 25, played 16 games over two seasons at McMaster University (2019-21), registering 52 tackles, five tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, one forced fumble and one recovered fumble. The 6-2, 297-pound native of Brampton, Ontario also played 25 games over three seasons at Mount Allison University (2015-18) registering 64.5 total tackles, 5.5 sacks, 13 tackles for loss and one forced fumble before transferring to McMaster in 2019.
