Hamilton Tiger-Cats News Release

Hamilton, Ontario - After two highly successful years, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, along with Hamilton Partners in Nutrition, CBM Chartered Accountants, Hamilton Orthotic Centre and Stoney Creek Orthotic Centre are proud to launch the BeFit program for its third year.

The Ticats BeFit program helps educate children in the Hamilton area about the importance of a physically active and healthy lifestyle. At each BeFit appearance, Tiger-Cats players deliver a healthy breakfast or snack and speak about the benefits of exercising and maintaining a healthy diet.

After reaching over 70 schools and over 20,000 students in its first two years, the program will add another 40 schools to that list this season.

The BeFit program will make its first stop of the year tomorrow morning, with Ticats players Marwan Hage, Jonathan Hood, Ike Brown and Peter Dyakowski.
