Tiger-Cats Add Four on Offence

HAMILTON - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that the team has signed international receivers Tiquan Underwood, Terrence Toliver and Tim Smith, as well as international running back Jeff Scott.

Underwood, a 6-2, 185-pound, native of New Brunswick, New Jersey, spent time with the New England Patriots, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers after being selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the seventh round (253rd overall) of the 2009 NFL Draft. In 45 career games over the last six seasons, the Rutgers alum hauled in 63 passes for 1,006 yards and six touchdowns.

Toliver, a 6-5, 203-pound, native of Hempstead, Texas, arrives in Hamilton following stints with the NFL's Houston Texans, Detroit Lions, Chicago Bears and San Diego Chargers as well as the United Football League's Omaha Nighthawks. The LSU product registered 126 receptions for 1,820 yards and 12 touchdowns over four seasons with the Tigers.

Smith, a 5-11, 200-pound-native of Chesapeake, Virginia, finished his NCAA career ranked ninth all-time in University of Virginia football history with 1,591 career receiving yards while adding 10 touchdowns. The former Cavalier spent training camp with the NFL's Cleveland Browns last season.

Scott, a 5-7, 165-pound, native of Miami, Florida, attended training camp with the NFL's Cincinnati Bengals prior to spending two weeks on the Ticats practice roster last September. In four seasons at Ole Miss, he compiled 3,668 all-purpose yards, including 2,297 rushing yards while scoring 20 touchdowns.
