
Tiffany Jackson Re-Signs with LA Sparks

LOS ANGELES, CA - Tiffany Jackson has re-signed with The Los Angeles Sparks, Executive Vice President and General Manager Penny Toler announced today. Per team policy, contract details were not disclosed.
"We are glad that Tiffany will be playing with us again this season," said Penny Toler, Los Angeles Sparks' Executive Vice President and General Manager. "Her aggressive defense and rebounding will continue to add to our front line presence."
The 6-foot-3 forward is currently playing in Israel for Maccabi Bnot Ashdod and is averaging 15.1 points and 11 rebounds per game. Jackson played her first season with the Sparks in 2017 where she played 26 games, started in one game and had a season high 32 minutes, 8 points, 4 field goals made and 8 rebounds in the Sparks season opener vs. Seattle Storm on 5/13.
Named All-American at The University of Texas, Jackson was the #5 pick in the first round of the 2007 WNBA Draft by New York Liberty. She has spent a total of 9 years in the WNBA with NY Liberty (2007 - 2009), Tulsa Shock (2010 - 2016) and Los Angeles Sparks (2017), averaging 6.8 PPG and 4.9 RPG with career high 12.4 PPG in 2011.
