Tides announce 2008 Schedule

Norfolk, VA -- The Norfolk Tides have announced the release of their 2008 game schedule. The team opens play with an eight-game homestand beginning Thursday, April 3rd vs. Buffalo at 7:15 pm.

The schedule features nine weekday day games and 11 Saturday night contests, as well as contests on Memorial Day and Father's Day. The complete schedule is available for download at norfolktides.com, with 2008 promotions to be announced throughout the off-season.

The 2008 season will be the Tides' 40th season at the Triple-A level and 16th season at Harbor Park. It will also be Norfolk's second season as the Triple-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles.
