Tickets to Wednesday IceRays Game Are Free

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS - The City of Corpus Christi and the Type A Board have teamed up with the Corpus Christi IceRays and SMG to offer free tickets for all patrons to the IceRays game against the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees this Wednesday, November 12 at 7:05 p.m. The promotion commemorates the American Bank Center 10th Anniversary and is offered to thank the members of the Corpus Christi community for their support of the building and the city.

"SMG is extremely proud to celebrate this 10-year anniversary with the IceRays," said Eric Jaramillo, Director of Marketing & Corporate Sales for SMG. "Not only have the IceRays been an excellent partner, they have been a staple of entertainment and commitment to Corpus Christi at the American Bank Center. We truly wanted to express that the American Bank Center is this community's premier event venue and thought what better way to do so than opening up the doors for a free game for everyone! We are looking forward to kicking off our 10-year anniversary with the IceRays this Wednesday and hope the community can come out and enjoy it as well."

"The City of Corpus Christi is excited be to offering this opportunity to all of our residents," said Kim Womack, Director of Communications for the City of Corpus Christi. "We hope all of our residents come out and celebrate with the IceRays the 10th Anniversary of the American Bank Center, which was a voter-approved referendum."

Starting today, any community member that wishes to come to Wednesday night's game can visit the American Bank Center Box Office to receive their free vouchers for the game that can be redeemed prior to the game on Wednesday. The first 500 fans in attendance will receive a voucher for a 10th anniversary puck that may be redeemed upon exit from the building. In addition, all popcorn and sodas will be $1, and if you buy one slice of Hunt Brother's Pizza, you'll receive one free slice of cheese pizza for free.

"We are excited at the fact that we are included in the 10th Anniversary festivities. What a great way to give back to the population of Corpus Christi.
