Tickets to 93rd annual Grey Cup Championship game on sale Saturday, May 21st

VANCOUVER, BC, May 17, 2005 - Planning for the 93rd annual Grey Cup is well underway and tickets are expected to sell quickly as they go on sale to the public Saturday, May 21st at 10AM.

"We are extremely pleased with how preparations have shaped up to date." Said Scott Ackles, General Manager of the 2005 Grey Cup. "Grey Cup fans will be treated not only to the largest sporting event in Canada but a week long celebration of events."

The Grey Cup Festival will showcase the Save-On-Foods Grey Cup Parade with floats and community groups from organizations throughout BC and Canada touring the streets of Vancouver. The Vancouver Sun Fanfest presented by Save-On-Foods will also be featured on Saturday, November 26th with the excitement continuing into the evening with the Scotiabank Grey Cup Gala at The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. Don't miss a minute of the festival as the Sports Action Beatty Street Block Party kicks into to high gear Friday, November 25th. In addition, Molson Canadian offers fans the Molson Canadian Commodore Concert series presented by The Province and Molson Canadian Party in the Pacific Festival Tent. The music series will feature some of Canada's top acts throughout the entire Festival week.

In addition to five days of festival action, the 93rd annual Grey Cup will kick off Sunday, November 27th. This remarkable game is the largest sporting event in Canada. A celebration of sport and culture, the Grey Cup is uniquely Canadian and has a storied history and deep traditions.
