
Renegades to take part in McHappy Day 2005

OTTAWA â The Ottawa Renegades Football Club will be taking part in McHappy Day 2005 â a day long initiative on Wednesday, May 18 in support of the Ronald McDonald House of Ottawa and the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO).
Four Renegades players and a trio of coaches will be taking part in the event throughout the National Capital region. As part of the tradition of McHappy Day â taking place throughout more than 1,350 McDonald's Restaurants across Canada â local community leaders and celebrities will be working along side the crews at McDonald's restaurants for over an hour in support of the charities.
Ottawa players George Hudson (centre), David Azzi (receiver), Darryl Ray (receiver) and Marc Pilon (defensive line) will join assistant coaches Kani Kauahi (offensive coordinator), Greg Marshall (defensive coordinator, assistant head coach) and Richard Harris (defensive line coach) on Wednesday.
Kauahi and Hudson will visit the McDonald's restaurant on 594 Montreal Road between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Marshall, Azzi and Ray are scheduled to be on hand at the location on 1795 St. Laurent Blvd between 11:30 and 1 p.m., while Harris and Pilon will be at the Barrhaven McDonald's from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on 3773 Strandherd Drive.
Members of the 2005 Molson Canadian Light Ottawa Renegades Dance team will also be present at some of the McDonald's locations in Ottawa Wednesday.
