Tickets Selling Fast for 4th Annual Celebrity Sports Dinner and Auction

Lethbridge, AB - Tickets are still available for the Lethbridge Hurricane's "4th Annual Celebrity Sports Dinner and Auction. This annual event will play host to former NHL official and Hockey Hall of Fame inductee Ray Scapinello as the evening's keynote speaker. Scapinello worked 2508 NHL games, 426 NHL Playoff games and 20 Stanley Cup Finals in his illustrious career; and never once missed a game due to sickness or injury in his amazing 33 year tenure with the NHL. Scapinello still remains close to the game even after retiring in 2004, he has released his new book "Between the Lines" and makes regular appearances on the Score sports network.
The event will be hosted by the always entertaining Mike Richards of the Fan 960 - Calgary's sports radio. Richards host of the Morning Show on the FAN 960, returns as the emcee for his 4th year to the event he recently called "his favorite evening of the year."
This special event is scheduled for 6 PM Friday, March 6th, 2009 at the Lethbridge Lodge Hotel Grand Ballroom. The silent auction will be running throughout the evening and a live auction will conclude the evening and include several rare and unique sports memorabilia items. This event has sold out each year since its inception and has raised over $130,000 for community organizations and charities benefiting the community of Lethbridge and the surrounding area.
