Everett Silvertips News Release
This Weekend: Rivalry Homestand Continues
The playoff-bound Everett Silvertips are currently in the middle of the longest stretch of home games this season. With just three home games left before the playoffs, we are reaching the twilight of the 2008-09 regular season.
The Tri-City Americans return to Comcast Arena Friday evening along with playmaker Mitch Fadden and talented goaltender Chet Pickard. With a possible playoff series looming, this would be an excellent night for the Silvertips to send a message to their central Washington rivals.
On Saturday evening, the Vancouver Giants make their final regular season visit to Comcast Arena in a game where the first 5,000 fans through the doors will receive a 2008-09 Team Photo, courtesy of NorthWest Plus Credit Union. The Giants are the top dogs in the Western Conference, and this should be another good challenge for the 'Tips.
Don't forget Fan Appreciation Night, held on March 14th against the Chilliwack Bruins. With our popular awards presentation immediately following the game, you'll be able to thank the departing veterans, support the hard-working rookies, and root for your favorite Silvertip to come away with an award or two on an exciting and emotional night where the tight bond between team and fans is reinforced once again.
The remaining home schedule:
Friday, 2/27: vs Tri- City Saturday, 2/28: vs Vancouver - NorthWest Plus Credit Union Team Photo Night Saturday, 3/14: vs Chilliwack - Fan Appreciation Night
Seats for all these games can be acquired by calling the Silvertips' front office at (425) 252-5100. We're expecting very large crowds for the 2/28 game against Vancouver and the 3/13 game against Chilliwack, so we suggest that you purchase seats in advance.
Thanks for your continued support, and we can't wait to see you back at Comcast Arena!
Upcoming Community Nights
City of Lake Stevens Night - Friday, February 27th vs Tri-City If you live in Lake Stevens, you're going to want to represent your city at Comcast Arena on Friday February 27th as part of our tribute to Snohomish County! Many of the Silvertips live in Lake Stevens, so we hope to get wonderful support from just across the trestle. The mayor and dignitaries from Lake Stevens will be on hand to share their love of town and hockey.
Youth Hockey Night - Saturday, February 28th vs Vancouver For all the young hockey players in Snohomish, King and Skagit Counties, we hope you'll celebrate Youth Hockey Day with the Silvertips during the Saturday, February 28th game against the rival Vancouver Giants. Local area teams will be playing in a hockey jamboree Saturday afternoon, featuring the youth associations of Everett Youth Hockey, Seattle Junior Hockey and Sno-King Amateur Hockey Association. Tickets for this game are discounted for only $10 for anyone who would like to attend the game in the orange upper level seating area.
City of Marysville Night - Saturday, February 28th vs Vancouver Marysville has provided tremendous support for the Silvertips throughout the history of the franchise, so we decided to honor the city with a special community-themed night. We visited two elementary schools in Marysville last week, and this effort will culminate with our "City of Marysville" night on Saturday, February 28th, where we'll pay tribute to the city that has supported the Silvertips since day one.
Season Ticket Renewals Due by February 28th
Attention, Season Ticket Holders: Remember that Season Ticket renewals are due by Saturday, February 28th, and if we don't receive your form by that time, you risk having your seats made available to other fans next season. You can hand off your renewal form to a Silvertips representative at the BECU Guest Services Table behind section 116 during this Friday's game against Tri-City.
We can't wait to see you back at Comcast Arena throughout the 2009-10 season, where the Silvertips' young guns will be poised for a breakthrough campaign!
If you haven't received your renewal form yet, or for more information, please call the Silvertips' front office at (425) 252-5100.
Playoff Packages Due by March 2nd

To guarantee your regular seats for the playoffs, please turn in those forms by Monday, March 2nd. We will still be receiving forms following March 2nd, though we can not guarantee your usual seats if your forms are turned in after that date.
