Tickets on Sale for New York Red Bulls II Playoff Opener

HARRISON, N.J. - Tickets are on sale now for the New York Red Bulls II 2016 USL Playoff opener, scheduled for October 2 at Red Bull Arena. Red Members are able to redeem for match tickets now by using their Members+ points at newyorkredbullsmembers.com .

NYRB II's first round game will be against either Orlando City B or Wilmington Hammerheads FC. Tickets can be purchased by visiting this link or calling 1.877.727.6223.

NYRB II and the New York Red Bulls have also announced potential dates for further playoff games, should NYRB II advance. Red Bulls II has clinched the overall top seed, which includes guaranteed home matches through the conference final.

* Eastern Conference Quarterfinals: October 2 at 4 pm.

* Eastern Conference Semifinals: October 7 at 7 p.m.

* Eastern Conference Final: October 16 at 6:30 p.m.

* USL Championship: October 23, at 8 p.m. (location TBD)

Each round of the 2016 USL Playoffs are win or go home, and will all be hosted at Red Bull Arena, provided the team continues to win. The site of the USL Championship game is determined by a bid process, in which each teams submit requests to the USL league office.

New York will finish the regular season with the USL records for most wins, most points, and most goals scored. Red Bulls II is currently 20-3-6, good for 66 points and the best record in the league by seven points with only one game to play.

In 2015, Red Bulls II's inaugural season, head coach John Wolyniec led NYRB II to a fourth-place finish with a 12-10-6 record. NYRB II won its first playoff game in an overtime win against Pittsburgh Riverhounds in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals, before falling to the eventual USL champions, Rochester Rhinos, in the semifinals.
